Introducing Team Harmony Teachers
Dear Visitor,
We are the teachers of Team Harmony, a 4 classroom 1st and 2nd grade team at the Allen Brook School in Williston, Vermont. Due to structural re-configurations at our school, we have just begun this journey together on this brand new team-Harmony. We all have different backgrounds and experiences and this multitude of experiences is what makes us so unique. We hope to provide our students (and families) with varied, interactive and innovative learning opportunities as we explore, examine and reflect alongside our students. To learn more about each teacher, access classroom specific projects and contact information, please click on each respective link below.

Mrs. McCormack
Hello,
My name is Maria McCormack and I am brand new to both Team Harmony and the Allen Brook School. I have had the pleasure of teaching at two other schools in our district; Shelburne Community School, where I taught 1st grade, and Hinesburg Community School, where I most recently taught 3rd and 4th grade.
I am very excited about my new school and our new team. I am excited about getting to know new friends and families and establishing a new school culture as we all help transform The Allen Brook School to an exclusive K-2 school.
I am also excited about about new innovative learning opportunities, primarily within the area of 21st century technology skills, a passion of mine. Get ready for many new and creative ways to explore learning, knowledge and collaboration as we spend the year together.
Outside of school, I spend time with my husband and three children. I have a dog too. His name is Link, and his name pops up often as we integrate technology together!
Lastly, I also love to paint. I try to find as many opportunities as possible for my students to express themselves in various art forms. Please view some of my art in the slideshow below. Thank you for visiting. I look forward to a great year!
Regards,
Mrs. McCormack
